Blacktown: Where Passion for Sport Runs Deep

Blacktown is a proud, diverse and active community, with sport playing a huge part in local life. From football and basketball to soccer, cricket, netball and running, there’s no shortage of clubs, facilities and competitions bringing the local community together. Home to sporting organisations including Blacktown City FC & Blacktown Spartans FC, along with the Blacktown & Districts Soccer Football Association, Blacktown City & District Cricket Association and Blacktown City Netball Association. And finally home to the multi-sport world-class facility Blacktown International Sportspark (near Rooty Hill).

Blacktown has a strong sporting spirit at every level, from juniors taking their first steps to athletes competing at the highest level.

Sports Direct is joining the community, opening our store at Westpoint Blacktown in 25th November 2026 (Grand Opening Saturday 5th December). Our brand-new store will bring even more choice across sport, fitness and lifestyle, from footwear and clothing to bags, bats and balls.

If you’re from the Blacktown area, make sure to sign up to our Sports Direct membership directly on our Blacktown store page and stay up to date with the latest offers, giveaways, events and early access to new drops and deals.
