One of England’s most iconic shirts, the Admiral design was worn from 1980–83 and featured prominently at the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain.

England opened with victories over Czechoslovakia and Kuwait in Bilbao before facing hosts Spain at Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu. Despite the late introductions of Kevin Keegan and Trevor Brooking, England could not find the winning goal they needed to progress.
